Requested donation is $15 - includes beer / wine / barbecue Kids under 17 free with their family
...but this is also a membership recruitment event so we're not likely to turn anyone away. You know we'll take smaller donations on a beer-by-beer basis, but to be eligible for all of the raffles you wanna spring for the wristband.

Since your readers are interested in environmental issues, I wanted to share this powerful video.
To “make waves” around the devastating effects of pollution and beach development on marine life, the Surfrider Foundation recently commissioned a 10 ft. high and 15 ft. wide sand sculpture on the shore of Long Beach, CA, just steps from the second largest port in the nation.
The massive sculpture of local marine life was designed by the renowned sand artist Kirk Rademaker. As the sand deteriorated over a two-day span, the medium became the message, revealing a hidden sign, “POLLUTION AND BEACH DEVELOPMENT ARE DESTROYING MARINE LIFE THIS QUICKLY.”
